Summer Break: NY and DC Trip!

Happy Sunday everyone!

So I went on a graduation trip to the east coast with my family. IT was their first time here so we were all excited for the trip. We departed a day after my commencement and flew to Buffalo, New York to see the world famous Niagara Falls. We went to the American Falls and Horseshoe Falls. The view was stunning. It was very cold when we went and everyone was freezing because we thought it would be warmer :( We enjoyed the trip except for the bad hotel front desk service.

After a 3D2N stay at Niagara Falls, we took a plane to Washington DC. The first time I came I visited many museums and it took up a lot of time so this time I'm gonna go see the beautiful buildings in DC. We had the chance to stay in brownstone apartment in Columbia Height, DC. The apartment was beautiful and clean. We bought the Big Bus tour so we can tour around DC and it came with the ticket to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. What a deal! We had a very pleasant stay in DC.

Now the fun part! NYC yay!! This was my second visit to NYC and I will never get bored to this city that never sleep. There are tons of good restaurants and stores. We took the bus up to NYC from DC. Our stay wasn't that pleasant this time. We stayed in a brownstone apartment in Brooklyn, in some ghetto neighborhood. Have you ever seen a gated counter in KFC? Yeah, they have the gated counter in this neighborhood, that's sketchy! Other than the unpleasant stay, everything else was good. We did a lot of shopping at Times Square. We also went to Woodbury Premium Outlet Mall and my family went crazy shopping there lol. We also watched the longest running broadway show The Phantom of the Opera. It was still amazing even though it was my second time watching. Statue of Liberty was closed due to the damage from hurricane Sandy so we didn't get to visit. We can still kind of see the statue at Battery Park. We visited a lot of places and it was pouring the dat we were gonna go to Central Park so we had to cancel it. We had so much fun in NYC, will definitely revisit!
