Kate Spade New York Mikas Pond Stacy

Happy Sunday! How was your week? Some of you might have started school already and I hope you had a great first week :)

So I was looking on Kate Spade New York website and I just clicked on the Mikas Pond Stacy wallet and saw this gorgeous color immediately! I was like OMG I have to get this. I don't know if it is just me, the color on the website always look so different in person and I am kind of worried of buying it online and got the wrong color I wanted. I was going to Chicago the next day anyways so I was just gonna see in person in the store and buy it but too bad the Kate Spade store in Chicago doesn't carry this beautiful color. The first thing I got home that night was order this gorgeous wallet. I got a 15% discount code, I made my boyfriend sign up for Kate Spade newsletter and got the discount code lol. So I got this for only $85. What a deal!

I seriously think Kate Spade has the best online shopping service. I ordered it on Saturday night and guess what, they started to ship my order the next day, yes on Sunday! And I received the wallet in 2 days which is on Tuesday. It literally took only 2 business days to order, confirm, ship and deliver. The packaging was so nice. My wallet was wrapped nicely in hot pink tissue and guess what, there was another 15% discount card in it! LOVE Kate Spade New York <3

The wrapping
More 15% discount card!!!
This wallet is so much more gorgeous in person. I'm so glad I ordered it. The color is so beautiful. It is the perfect Tiffany blue shade that I wanted. I put it next to the Tiffany and Co. box and both colors match! And the color is exactly the same as on my laptop screen. It is made from cross embossed leather like the one Prada has but way cheaper. I like the leather because it doesn't get scratched easily. The interior is cotton twill with polka dots which makes it so much cuter. I'm so satisfy with my purchase.

It matches the Tiffany blue box color <3

This wallet is actually smaller than I thought but that's not a big deal. I was gonna get a smaller wallet anyways. My old one was too bulky, that's why I picked a fold wallet instead of a zipped around one. It has 12 card slots, 4 bill slots, a clear ID slot and a zipper slot for coins. I read a lot of reviews of this wallet saying the wallet doesn't close when you have all the cards in the slots. It actually doesn't happen on me. My wallet close nicely and it stays pretty like how I first got it!
I am very satisfy with my purchase and love the color so much!

Gorgeous

The interior, isn't it cute?

Manicure: Tiffany and Co. © French Tip

Happy Tuesday everyone! How was your first day of school?

Everyone was busy preparing for school and I feel very weird that I'm no longer in school. I can't believe I'm saying this, I miss going to school.

Alright, back to nails, I'm really into this Tiffany and Co. © shade lately, let's just call it Tiffany blue. It has been my favorite color for a while but I seriously fall into this color now, like real bad. Everything I got past couple weeks was in Tiffany blue, literally like everything. Seriously I think I can do a post purely on stuffs I got in Tiffany blue. That is actually a great idea isn't it? I just thought it is a very lovely, fresh and youthful color.

I decided to keep it simple this time and french tip was the first that came to my mind. I wanted something different than regular french tip because I have done that couple times. So I was browsing Tiffany and Co. © website and this came across my mind. I was like why not to top another coat of Tiffany blue on a regular french tip nails? And ta-dah, this is how I thought of the Tiffany and Co. © inspired nails. It is simple yet classy. French tip will never go too crazy and it is always good for every event even job interview.

So I painted my nails with 2 coats of Rimmel French Manicure Pro in shade 140 French Rose, such a pretty name, the color is so sweet too. It is a very light nude pinkish color. I then taped my nails with my double eyelid tapes, you can use any tape, just cut it to match the shape of your nails, I was just too lazy to cut out the shape and double eyelid tape has the arch I wanted. I topped it with a coat of Pure Ice in shade Super Star!. I got this white color nail polish at Walmart and it is very affordable. I believe I only paid less than $2 for that. It has decent amount of products too. Of course, not to forget my favorite Tiffany blue color from China Glaze in shade For Audrey. I got it from Amazon for like $5 including shipping which I think it is really cheap. I actually found a better Tiffany blue color from Essie, but I just don't feel like paying $8 for a bottle of nail polish. I personally think China Glaze For Audrey is very close to what I wanted. Last but not least, I applied a coat of Sally Hansen
Strengthening Top Coat. This top coat seriously does its job. My nail polish lasted so much longer when I use it.

Thank you so much for reading I hope you guys like it. Have a great week ahead!

OOTD: Studded Chiffon and Tribal ft. Minty Blue

Happy Sunday everyone! How was your weekend?

I went to Chicago on Friday and this is the outfit of the day! It was kind of chilly in Chicago even though it is in the middle of summer. It was raining for a bit so I decided not to wear shorts. I got this pair of leggings couple days ago in Forever21. It was a great deal. Tribal print is the hit this summer/fall. I got compliments on the first day wearing them. It was super comfy too! It is great for class, running errands, taking flight or hanging out with your girl friends.

Of course, in the summer, you need to show off some skin so I paired it with a sleeveless chiffon studded top. I love love love this top. It is very flattered. The gold skeleton studs are so cute! The white chiffon top is very soft and comfy.

To accessorize the look, I wear a mint statement necklace, bangles and rings. Not to forget my favorite Michael Kors gold watch. It is always been my favorite. I want the mint statement necklace to be the focus of the look so I paired it with a black purse and white studded sandals.

Five Summer Concert Pairings

Hi everyone! How's your summer going? It's Lollapalooza weekend in Chicago!!

There are always tons of music festivals going on in the summer, from orchestra to electronic, all types of music. I am glad that I have the chance to share some summer concert pairings with you guys with different themes.

Yes, the weather in summer concerts is usually nasty. It is hot and humid. If you are going to an outdoor concert, you will definitely want to wear something light and comfortable, tank and shorts are probably the best option. Of course, a pair of comfortable shoes is a must have in summer concerts because you are gonna do a lot of dancing and jumping. So I would choose flats over heels unless I'm going to some concerts that have seating, for instance orchestral concert, then I'll dress up elegantly with sequin dress and a pair of gorgeous heels.

Oh most importantly, don't forget to use waterproof makeups! You are most probably gonna sweat like a piggy and you don't want your makeups to melt and drip over your face. That is a big no-no!

Alright, so here are some music festival pairings I'm gonna share with you: floral, chambray, spikey, tribal and lacey.

It's Banquet Time!!

Hi everyone!

It is the end of semester time!! Well, at least for the midwest schools :) And guess what?? It's my favorite banquet time.

I love going to banquet because I get to meet friends and dress up. Not to forget some prizes!! So I went to 2 banquets this school year. They are the Asian American Association (Triple A a.k.a AAA) and Alpha Phi Omega banquets. Both are held in Purdue Memorial Union. The foods was okay but people were awesome! I got my fraternity paddle in APO banquet, so proud to be part of the leadership, friendship and service!

Winter in The South

Happy Tuesday!

This outfit will be perfect for those who live in mild winter zone like the south part of the states or even some southeast asia countries which is summer all year long. It is also good for spring or fall.

A lightweight snowflake pattern sweater will never go out of style in the winter. To brighten up our look in the winter, I paired it with my favorite color - Tiffany blue chiffon high low skirt. High low skirt is very versatile and can be easily dressed up or down. For accessories, I would prefer dark color in this pairing to highlight the sweater and skirt. So I chose a pair of black loafers with studs (I love gold studs!) and a black cute purse. I think deep purple will go well with this outfit so I picked a purple watch which looks extremely cute with the pairing. The reason I picked up some black and white bangles is because I don't want the outfit to be so colorful as I want to stress out the snowflake sweater and tiffany blue skirt. I love to accessorize so I got this bunny headband. It is extremely cute and show the lively and playful side of you.

Crazy Winter

The weather outside is crazy! It's -15F outside with windchill. How I wish it's summer right now and I'm gonna put on my tiffany blue bikini and just chill by the beach.

I saw this cute bandeau on one of the posts on Tumblr. After I found out it's from VS, I ordered it right away and got it few days after. I fell in love with this bikini when I first opened the package. It's my favorite color! I just can't wait to wear this.
