Manicure: Fall/Winter Favorites

Happy Friday everyone! Weekend is finally here :)

Are you guys ready for fall? Here are some of my favorite fall/winter nail colors. Who says fall/winter colors are always dull and boring? Let me show you how you can rock this fall and winter seasons :)

When you get all prepared for your jackets, coats, sweaters, boots and winter gears, do not forget to fashion-ize your nails too!

I bought couple metallic nail polishes in the summer, yes I'm ready for fall! I feel like to brighten up the darker shades in fall/winter, metallic is the best option. For example, instead of painting black nails, use metallic black. It adds more glam and chic look to your nails. I'm really into this metallic goldish bronzish copperish color lately. Those colors are so classy and versatile.

Bold colors are also a trend in the fall/winter series. Burgundy is one of my favorite colors in the fall and winter. The color is just so warm and beautiful, it does make you age a little bit but it is so elegant. Indigo is also a very stylish fall/winter color but it tends to look 'dirty' on yellow skin tone :( Purple is also my favorite color in the fall and winter seasons. I chose a darker lavender shade instead of a deep purple because deep purple is not as versatile as deep lavender. Of course not to forget my favorite Tiffany blue color, that's my all time favorite, I use it in every season. It is my 'all season nail polish' shade.

Glitterssss!!! Glitters are my favorite. They look so cute on nails but it is pain in the ass to wash if off your nails :/ I always wear glitter nails on Christmas. Red and gold glitters are probably the best Christmas option. What about trying something new like purple glitter? Purple glitter looks so cool, funky and young! So you don't need to worry about darker nail shades make you age. Or try out mix glitter like navy/red, purple/blue, any combination. I have a red/green glitter nail polish from OPI that looks very festive christmassy.

Some people like to keep their nails simple and clean. Nude is the best option but there are so many different shades of nude out there. I would say choose a cold tone instead of warm tone for fall and winter. I do not have any cold tone nude colors because I'm not a big fan of nude nails, probably once in a while when I'm bored of colors. But hey who gets bored of colorsss?

So that is my fall/winter nail shades and what's yours?

Thanks for reading and stay tune for new posts <3

Winter in The South

Happy Tuesday!

This outfit will be perfect for those who live in mild winter zone like the south part of the states or even some southeast asia countries which is summer all year long. It is also good for spring or fall.

A lightweight snowflake pattern sweater will never go out of style in the winter. To brighten up our look in the winter, I paired it with my favorite color - Tiffany blue chiffon high low skirt. High low skirt is very versatile and can be easily dressed up or down. For accessories, I would prefer dark color in this pairing to highlight the sweater and skirt. So I chose a pair of black loafers with studs (I love gold studs!) and a black cute purse. I think deep purple will go well with this outfit so I picked a purple watch which looks extremely cute with the pairing. The reason I picked up some black and white bangles is because I don't want the outfit to be so colorful as I want to stress out the snowflake sweater and tiffany blue skirt. I love to accessorize so I got this bunny headband. It is extremely cute and show the lively and playful side of you.
