OOTD: Studded Chiffon and Tribal ft. Minty Blue

Happy Sunday everyone! How was your weekend?

I went to Chicago on Friday and this is the outfit of the day! It was kind of chilly in Chicago even though it is in the middle of summer. It was raining for a bit so I decided not to wear shorts. I got this pair of leggings couple days ago in Forever21. It was a great deal. Tribal print is the hit this summer/fall. I got compliments on the first day wearing them. It was super comfy too! It is great for class, running errands, taking flight or hanging out with your girl friends.

Of course, in the summer, you need to show off some skin so I paired it with a sleeveless chiffon studded top. I love love love this top. It is very flattered. The gold skeleton studs are so cute! The white chiffon top is very soft and comfy.

To accessorize the look, I wear a mint statement necklace, bangles and rings. Not to forget my favorite Michael Kors gold watch. It is always been my favorite. I want the mint statement necklace to be the focus of the look so I paired it with a black purse and white studded sandals.

Five Summer Concert Pairings

Hi everyone! How's your summer going? It's Lollapalooza weekend in Chicago!!

There are always tons of music festivals going on in the summer, from orchestra to electronic, all types of music. I am glad that I have the chance to share some summer concert pairings with you guys with different themes.

Yes, the weather in summer concerts is usually nasty. It is hot and humid. If you are going to an outdoor concert, you will definitely want to wear something light and comfortable, tank and shorts are probably the best option. Of course, a pair of comfortable shoes is a must have in summer concerts because you are gonna do a lot of dancing and jumping. So I would choose flats over heels unless I'm going to some concerts that have seating, for instance orchestral concert, then I'll dress up elegantly with sequin dress and a pair of gorgeous heels.

Oh most importantly, don't forget to use waterproof makeups! You are most probably gonna sweat like a piggy and you don't want your makeups to melt and drip over your face. That is a big no-no!

Alright, so here are some music festival pairings I'm gonna share with you: floral, chambray, spikey, tribal and lacey.

It's Banquet Time!!

Hi everyone!

It is the end of semester time!! Well, at least for the midwest schools :) And guess what?? It's my favorite banquet time.

I love going to banquet because I get to meet friends and dress up. Not to forget some prizes!! So I went to 2 banquets this school year. They are the Asian American Association (Triple A a.k.a AAA) and Alpha Phi Omega banquets. Both are held in Purdue Memorial Union. The foods was okay but people were awesome! I got my fraternity paddle in APO banquet, so proud to be part of the leadership, friendship and service!

Winter in The South

Happy Tuesday!

This outfit will be perfect for those who live in mild winter zone like the south part of the states or even some southeast asia countries which is summer all year long. It is also good for spring or fall.

A lightweight snowflake pattern sweater will never go out of style in the winter. To brighten up our look in the winter, I paired it with my favorite color - Tiffany blue chiffon high low skirt. High low skirt is very versatile and can be easily dressed up or down. For accessories, I would prefer dark color in this pairing to highlight the sweater and skirt. So I chose a pair of black loafers with studs (I love gold studs!) and a black cute purse. I think deep purple will go well with this outfit so I picked a purple watch which looks extremely cute with the pairing. The reason I picked up some black and white bangles is because I don't want the outfit to be so colorful as I want to stress out the snowflake sweater and tiffany blue skirt. I love to accessorize so I got this bunny headband. It is extremely cute and show the lively and playful side of you.

Spring in Winter

Hi everyone. How was your Superbowl weekend?

I wanna share this cute pairing that I really like with you guys :)
The weather is very unpredicted in the winter. Well, at least in West Lafayette. It can go down to 15F today and up to 60F tomorrow. This spring in winter outfit can be worn when the weather is warming up little bit.

I have a lot of mustache stuffs. I think it looks really cute in every season. This sequin mustache sweater is a must-have. Burgundy is one of my favorite colors. I bought a pair of burgundy Hollister jeggings couple months ago and that's my most worn jeans so far. I was browsing Zappos webpage and I saw this cute fluffy leopard moccasin. And guess what, they are on sale! This fur moccasin will definitely keep your feet warm in this cold weather. Put on a cute winter-designed pom pom hat to keep your ears warm. The camel color purse is very versatile and the dash of bright pink adds cuteness to it. I chose this purple watch with gold trim because it looks more like a accessory and it matches the colorful thin bangles too. And don't forget your nails too! I think the gold nail polish will look really with this outfit.

Everyday Go-to-school Pairing

Hi guys :)

I just got a new Hollister sweater and I like it so much so I made a pairing idea for it. It is great for school, shopping or running some errands.

I think this pinkish color sweater will look good with light wash denim and my favorite UGG classic short in chestnut. Don't forget to top it with a cream color knit scarf to keep yourself warm. I didn't use any accessories because this outfit is for school or errand so it is better to keep it clean and simple. I also paired it with a gold watch. I received a lot of compliments from it and it is my favorite watch. I picked this tiffany blue color large tote as I said earlier, the outfit is for school and this bag can fit all your textbooks and school supplies and of course, this simple tote matches the cute outfit. For the nails, I chose lavender color which is the color between pink and tiffany blue and I personally think it goes really well with the outfit.
