Class of 2013 Commencement: The End of 4 Years

GUESS WHAT?!?!

I'm officially graduated as a boilermaker! My commencement was yesterday and we went around the school to take some pictures, okay, tons of pictures! 

Finally my 4 years of college has came to the end. I can't believe I have came this far. I wanna thank my family for coming to my commencement all the way from home. I know the 20 hours plane ride wasn't easy. Thank you for all the supports, mentally and financially. I wouldn't be able to study abroad and finish my degree without you guys. I will always be thankful for what I get from my fam. After all these years, I'm here, becoming a better me. I will always strive and one day I hope I make you proud.

Family Reunion in Chi-chi-chicago

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I'm here in Chicago again but it was different this time. MY FAMILY FROM 10,000 MILES AWAY CAME TO VISIT ME!!! No words can describe how excited I'm.

So my bf, I and of course Churro, my dog went to O'hare airport to pick up my parent and big sista. I was so happy the moment I saw them walking out the gate. Big hugs to all of them. It has been a while.

We went to the hotel to check in and drop off the luggages. It was literally next to the airport. Decent hotel, nice and clean and FREE PARKING! Then the journey started :)

We had late lunch at Gyu Kaku, a japanese BBQ restaurant in downtown Chicago. The foods were amazing, order any BBQ meat on their menu and you will not be disappointed. Their green tea ice cream was by far the best green tea ice cream I've ever had, even better than Haagen Dazs one. Downside was a little pricey tho and portion was small. But you get the good foods! We spent around $200 for 5 of us and we didn't leave with a full stomach.

Since we were at downtown, we walked along N Michigan Ave. The weather was kinda chilly. We went back to hotel after so my family could get some rests since they flew almost 20 hours to get here.

After we got some good sleeps, we had brunch at Yolk, one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. The food portion was huge, we always have some leftovers to bring home. We then went to the Skydeck in Willis Tower. Although it was my 3rd visit, I'm still fear of the height, not as much as 1st and 2nd visit tho, I guess I'm slowly overcome the fear :)

Next stop was Millennium Park and its famous bean, Cloud Gate. Flowers were blooming and it was so beautiful here. I took some graduation pictures here with fam. We then went to Crown Fountain and Buckingham Fountain. Too bad it was too cold to play in the water. We had dinner at Lao Beijing in Chinatown. We were gonna go to Lao Sze Chuan but it was too crowded, line was about an hour wait. Foods was okay.

Third day in Chicago, we had brunch at The Cheesecake Factory. I love their red velvet cheesecake, I think I will never get bored of it. We went to Water Tower Place after brunch then headed to Art Institute of Chicago. We got the discounted price ticket for only $10 because it was the last hour before they closed.

It's Banquet Time!!

Hi everyone!

It is the end of semester time!! Well, at least for the midwest schools :) And guess what?? It's my favorite banquet time.

I love going to banquet because I get to meet friends and dress up. Not to forget some prizes!! So I went to 2 banquets this school year. They are the Asian American Association (Triple A a.k.a AAA) and Alpha Phi Omega banquets. Both are held in Purdue Memorial Union. The foods was okay but people were awesome! I got my fraternity paddle in APO banquet, so proud to be part of the leadership, friendship and service!

It was my birthday yesterday and I had a great dinner with my boyfriend in Indy.

Okay, back to the topic today, I always wanted to paint my nails all different color but I was kind of afraid the colors wouldn't match and it will turn out meh. I was cleaning up my nail polishes and found out I have many different pastel nail polishes. So I decided to have my nails in rainbow pastel colors this time and it is perfect for spring!

Review: Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion

I've been using Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion for almost a year and now I'm gonna share with you guys how awesome this BB cream is. It comes with one case of BB cream and also a refillable pack. I'm now using the fourth case!

I don't put much makeup on my face on a daily makeup routine. I want some coverage but not too much like a foundation. My sister recommended me this and I was like wow this is the one. This BB cream comes in 3 shades. Its coverage is more like from light to medium and it's buildable which is just perfect for school or work. It is proved that your skin temperature will decrease by 3 degree Celsius when you put it on your face. This is because the cushion (puff) they use has 800,000 tiny pores to lock up the water and hydrate your skin while wearing makeup.

I only wear this BB cream when I go to school or work which I would say like 4-5 days a week and one case lasts me for whole semester, about 4 months.

My Little Cutie Pie: Churro

Happy Wednesday! Churro says hi to everyone :)

He is my little cutie pie, so sweet and lovely! He is a maltipoo breed (maltese poodle mix). 1 year and 4 months. Picked this cute guy up when he was 10 weeks old at Boston, KY. Drove 8 hours back and forth to pick him up and he saved us a speed ticket! Officer was like aww such a cute dog and just gave us a warning, whew!

Churro is so outgoing and active. He loves to play with anyone, gets so excited when he sees strangers. He is definitely the friendliest dog I have ever seen!

Although sometimes it costs me alot, he broke 6-7 of my phone and laptop chargers, I kinda lost count lol, pain in the asssss.. He doesn't break anything but chargers but I still love him so much! Isn't he sho cute??

He gets so excited every time I come in the room, even though I just leave the room for 2 minutes to get water or bathroom break and when I come in, he will never disappoint me, wagging his hairy tail and welcome me. Feel so warm when I come home from a busy school day or tired work shift to see this little cutie wagging his tail and begging me to play with him.
